Refund & Cancellation

Fair, and in plain English.

Last updated: 8 June 2026

1. Nothing is billed during beta

Backtesting and deploying strategies on Vecktor are free. A few advanced AI features (Compose, Talk-to-the-backtest, and the Optimizer) run on AI credits, and during the beta every account receives a free monthly credit allowance, so there is nothing being billed today and nothing to refund. The terms below describe how refunds and cancellations will work once paid credit packs or subscription plans launch.

2. What you may pay for later

  • Credit packs: one-time purchases of AI credits (used by Compose, the analyst, and the optimizer)
  • Subscription plans: a recurring monthly or annual plan with an included credit allowance and features

The trading fees you pay on your exchange are charged by the exchange, not by Vecktor, and are never refundable through us. See our Terms for how we operate as a non-custodial tool.

3. Subscription cancellation

  • You can cancel a subscription at any time from Settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • We do not auto-charge without your consent. Recurring payments (UPI AutoPay / e-mandate) are set up explicitly by you and can be revoked from your payment app or from Settings.
  • If we materially change a plan's price or features, we notify you before renewal so you can cancel.

4. Refund eligibility

  • 7-day cooling-off on first subscription: if you are a first-time subscriber and have not consumed more than 10% of the plan's included credits, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment.
  • Duplicate or failed charges: accidental double payments, or a charge where the service was not delivered, are refunded in full.
  • Service failure: if a paid feature is unavailable for an extended period due to a fault on our side, we offer a pro-rata credit or refund.

5. What is not refundable

  • Consumed AI credits. Credits already spent on Compose, analyst, or optimizer calls are non-refundable, because the underlying AI cost was incurred on your behalf.
  • The unused portion of a subscription period after the 7-day cooling-off window (you keep access until the period ends).
  • Trading losses, slippage, missed fills, or any market outcome. Vecktor is a non-custodial software tool and does not guarantee any trading result. See the Risk Disclosure.
  • Exchange trading fees, funding payments, or taxes.

6. How to request a refund

Reach us through our Contact page from your account email with your order/transaction ID and the reason. We acknowledge within 48 hours and, where a refund is approved, process it within 5 to 7 business days to your original payment method. Refund timelines on the payment-provider / bank side may add a few additional days.

7. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first; we resolve almost everything faster than a bank dispute. Raising a chargeback without contacting us may lead to a temporary suspension of paid features while the dispute is investigated.

8. Questions

Anything unclear, reach us through our Contact page.
